1931 Essex Numbers?

Help me please, I'm restoring a 1931 Essex super six which I find in a barn in Ontario Canada, last seen the road was 1952. I come across these # on the wooden cross bars on the roof ( s 1 8568 1) and there's patent # on the tranny (1230896 6 26 1917

1412498 4 11 1922

1799987 4 7 1931)



What does all these # mean?

Any other info about these car would be a great help
