I dunno about that Ken. I don't think anyone would give me much for my Pacemaker even in perfect condition. Being a youger guy in the club it used to be mostly what I could get and afford on my pay when I worked ina local furniture store and I've mostly owned short WB Hudsons. I've owned 3 Pacemakers and one Wasp and my '47 C8 is the only top-of-the-line Hudson I have ever owned.
When I picked up my 3rd Pacemaker another club member said, "What?! You don't like speed?" LOL I got my '51 P for $2300. My (now destroyed) '50 P Brougham for $1300. My Replacement '50 P sedan for $5000. and my '54 Wasp (I sold a long time ago) for Free. Now whether no one selling them is still willing to accept those types of prices for a basic entry-level step-down anymore I don't know. Short WB Hudson's seem to get more love from the owners who drive them than from the marketplace because at the end of the day it's not a Hornet. The only exception seems to be the convertibles.
But the days of pulling them out of junkyards in solid condition for $50-$100 are definately over.0 -
I 'd pick that car up but I really got not room for it....one thing I noticed. Teh center of the steering wheel (horn button) is different than mine. Mine had only a diamond in the middle and that one has a Hudson crest on it.0

I beleive the horn button with the Hudson Crest is from a '52 or '53 model0
