Hudson concept art (unofficial)

I stumbled onto this site doing a simple Bing! search for Hudson images, not sure if it's been posted before. Some very nice interpretations of what could have been. I have no info on any background of the artist or purpose, and the main site seems to be totally unrelated to cars (bridges... why?), but here it is:

That's a neat set of concept drawings. Wonder what would have become of Hudson if they'd managed to actually build something like that.

Naw, would never have happened - old Mr. High Hat, with his 1930's leadership mentality would have freaked out over those. :D

  • Those are some imaginative designs... I like the hypothetical commentary to go along with the images as well.

I really like the grill for the 58!

Thanks for sharing this set of concepts.

If Hudson had only merged with Chrysler Corp. instead of Nash, just imagine the tail fin size Hudson would of had by the 60's. They would still have been competative in NASCAR. Maybe a Hudson Hornet Daytona with a Hemi and a wing. Imagination and Hudson concept art. What can be better than that? Lee

Kool, we should get this guy in the HET! If he made some prints of these he would sell a bunch.

I sent some comments to the fellow in an email and he responded. I'll send him over here to the forum - maybe he'll have some comments.

That would be cool. I'm sure this guy could draw some drawings of some of our current cars, as well. Heck, I'd love to have one of the convertible.

Anyone know what happened to the site that these images were posted? Anyone still in contact with the artist. These were very cool future concepts.

I just tried to access the sight and got "could not find page", but what I got was a sight about covered bridges

    Just covered bridges, no Hudsons.

Here is a partial copy of the presentation you guys are talking about. I saved it to my documents about four years ago. Had some trouble getting it into a file I could attach here, so I am sorry the colors did not reproduce as I would have liked. It is now in a "pdf" file for your convenience.

    Bumping to top
  • I saved this as a word document before it disappeared from atawalk. I will try to attach it.

Sort of crazy on the windshield on the '57!!! Sort of detracts from the lines, IMHO.
Otherwise not a bad study of what might have been.
