Reinstalling windows and cranking mechanisms

Hi All I am in the future going to reinstall the windows and cranking mechanisms in our 54 Hornet Hollywood and was wondering if anybody has some pictures of the proper fasteners needed in what place to get the job done properly. When I took the car apart 7 years ago I did not have a didgetal camera and a lot of pictures I took did not turn out. Thanks for the help. Hey Sean hows your Hollywood comming along. Ray:D:D

Ray, if you have not already done so, I would highly suggest that you buy the "Hudson Body Service Manual" available throught the HET store. It contains a good section on doors, glass installation, etc. It has been invaluable in the restoration of my 54 Special.

Do you have a HUDSON GROUP PARTS BOOK copy for your car. If it is like the book I have for my Hudson, it will have the illustrations and the fasteners listed. It is at the back of my book. Also, for other parts of the car too. It has been very helpful finding the right fasteners that were missing on my Hudson.



I got mine from the HET Club Store.
