    Did another one of those frame-off resto's thats where all the money is tied up. Its costs to cut a unibody frame off a car and then weld it back in. This guy is dreaming but since I also have a 54 sedan I hope he gets his asking price.

    Now, you guys are just being pickey.... I think when you show up to pick up the car, the covering on this car will be pulled off and a nice (correctly restored) convertible will be under the cover. I think the owner is just weeding out those who are not serious? I, call me cheep, would be hard pressed to pay 40K for any stepdown that is not a rag top... JMHO

    if you find a nice 54 ragtop for 40k you should buy it i was at auburn and a nice one sold for 61k on sat.:)

    I'm thinkin' for 40 you should get a coupe or a Hollywood. Sedan should be 30 or so, if no assembly required. A little less if your parents have to put it together.
