fuel regulator question
I have one of those electric fuel pumps (solenoid type) on my Hornet. The fuel pump pressure at the front carb is 4.5 psi to a momentary 5 at idle. So far no flooding, A Ok.I just don't feel right about not having a pressure regulator, but the only ones that I can find are the dial in type 1/2 to 5 1/2. I never trusted these. Some have leaked, or the numbers are grossly inaccurate. The other ones, that have a lock nut and are adjusted with a gauge, only come with two outlet ports ( dual carb Porsches?). Does any one have knowledge of a screw/lock nut type with only one inlet & one outlet port with 4.5 - 9 psi. Summit lists one but when it arrived it was for dual carbs.
