Looking for a hood for a 50 LWB
If anyone has a nice hood for a 50 LWB Hudson, I would be interested. I am looking for a nice straight clean hood, no rust, dents, dings, etc... NOS would be great, surface rust okay, no deep pits, PM me, I get on here sporadic, I will be at the PA Dutch Chapter meet the Sunday after Fall Hershey, and will be around fall Hershey a day or two.
Thanks!
Rick

Glad to see you around
Sorry, no help on the hood.0 -
Try Jason Fisher at Albright's Twin-H ranch in SoCal or Al Saffrahn in Phoenix area. Both are in the WTN under "Member Products and Services." You could also try Dick Riggs up in Wash; he may be helping dispose of Jim Harmon's collection, which includes tons of sheetmetal. His contact info is in the HET Club Directory.0

This is a one year only item. I did get one from Bill A. about a year ago, but it needed some work. Bent Metal (on this forum) has my old one, but it was pretty needy. My recommendation would be Dick Riggs, because as Sam says above, he is helping with Jim Harmon's stuff and Jim had a lot of good stepdown sheet metal. Good luck.0

I have one, but I am in Colorado. Hard to ship a hood.

48/49 hood will work, but you have to use 48/9 latch and tie panel.:)0

yeah, I got one on the car, it is decent enough, I just thought if anyone has one around, it might ease the welding that will have to go into mine. I think the front edge is a little ratty. I amsure there are a lot of worse ones out there, but If I find one in the meantime, I would swap it out. Believe me, I bet a lot of you would question why I wouldn't just fix the one I got. It might just come down to that. Hudsondad will have to get the mig out, but that's my big item of the year, I suppose.
Yeah, still around, just want to get this thing going at some point, I understand the Nationals is in PA in 2012, I need to start soon....0 -
Check with Hudzilla He might have one.
