Is there more than one style of stearing wheel for the 1949 model? I am going out to look at a members car (he has it on the road) this week and help him decide if the wheel on his car is correct or if he is looking for a different unit. If someone has a photo it would sure help.

Their were 2 different steering wheels in 1949. The super series had one style a 16" with just a horn button. The commodore series had a larger 18" wheel with a horn ring. The commodore wheel could be purchased as an option on the super series. Here is picture of a super series wheel

Super Six Wheels were brown, with a round horn button. Commadores were cream, with an olongated cream center and a chrome horn ring.
