Hornet Steel Wheel Wanted
I had a flat yesterday on one of my tube-type Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. Couldn't find a tire place in this town who could/would patch a tube. (and, try finding a tube at NAPA these days). I finally tracked down a tube at "Tractor Supply" store, and begged my nearby muffler shop to swap tubes for me.
Lesson learned... now I carry a spare tube in the trunk in case of breakdown in Rotten Crotch, Ohio.
While the tire was being fixed, I put the steel wheel spare on. Just a short drive convinced me to use another car.. the car was vibrating all over the road. Turned out that steel wheel was seriously bent.
So.... I'm looking for a nice 15" steel wheel for my '51 Hornet coupe. Doesn't have to be beautiful, just straight, and not too pitted.
Anyone have a spare (pun intended).

Phil-
I think I have a spare, but if I bring it to you, then maybe I can get a ride in the coupe?
E-mail me, if you want.0
