Woodgraining
[attachment:1]C:\Users\Hudson\Pictures\2010-10-13 Hudson Dashboard\Hudson Dashboard 015.JPG[/attachment
I tried to upload a pics of my dashboard and dash parts that I woodgrained myself. I will try again soon. Now I got it. It cost me about 30.00 to do it just using primer, white spray paint, wood stain and clear coat. Walt M was here last week and thought it looked really good. I got the idea from a you tube video about making steel doors look like wood doors. I am pretty happy with it.

Concidering thing's like that never photograph well, and concidering your's looks pretty good . I'd say you did great !
Some where I saw a photo from the Hudson factory pressing the dashboard for 48-49 cars. And you could see in the photo the metal was woodgrained before the bent it.
How in the heck did they do that and still end up with a smooth finish?

I can vouch that he did a good job, I was there and saw it in person. Maui, Hawaii air helps. Hello Jeff, with the weather that greeted us upon return, had us thinking we should of stayed longer. Walt.0
