It will be clearing by Thursday up with no more rain and tempratures in upper 60's. Leaves are spectacular! C'mon down0 -

We have 10 to 13 cars, lots of lookers and tire kickers. Eating tooo much food, seeing lots of friends and those seen at previous meets(here and elsewhere) Couple of trucks came today, more 1940's than stepdowns. Ya'll come on down, hospitality room is open and they have food. Bob P0

Just got in an hour or so ago. Really enjoyed the meet. The weather was great and there were some very nice Hudson's there. Mr. Forrester's 49 coupe and the story behind the restoration was cool! Several nice 46-47 Pickups and the black 54 Hornet sedan was such a nice car! The people were even nicer! We enjoyed the low country boil and the dancing !! ha -- also bought one of Bob's dual exhaust outlets. Was surprised at the lack of interest in both the dual exhaust outlet and the new Hudson head
Had a great time

We enjoyed the meet too. Lots of nice cars, The last count I made was 33, could have missed some, some came without their cars, some brought two(had help with the driving). Matt brought his kids. Lots of visitors came by asking and commenting about the cars and their cars(you know what I mean) It would be hard to name all the nice cars like Ed's, Freddie's, Bobby's, and others. Some clean and straight, some modified but nice. Hard to get a good count because of all the shoppers and sightseeers, moving their cars around. Thanks for the business, hope you enjoy it. Bob Hickson looked good, weak, but good. Home safe, car unloaded, resting. Hope everybody else made it safely. Good entertainment Sat nite, different. Bob P.0 -

Glad everyone had a good time. That is what I like to see. I was worried because of the economy but the turnout was great and I thank everyone that attended. I hope to be there again next year. Same place, same time,( last weekend in October ) Thursday/Friday/Saturday. I want to especially thank the members of the Mid-South Chapter for their support and work in helping to make the meet a success. A special thanks to Bill Cox, Molly Meridieth, Joyce and LLoyd Whedbee for getting the Hospitality rooms set up so quickly. And I will NEVER forget the cooperation that We have gotten from the folks at THE VACATION LODGE. Without them many of our ideas could not be carried out. Reese and Penny Grooms supplied the Music, and as always they did a great job. Large and in charge, Jerry, Chris Hobbs and their grandson Brandon supplied a fantastic low country boil, that everyone seemed to enjoy.
Thanks to all
Bob Hickson
