vent window glass needed

I have a need for one Solex tinted vent window glass for a Hollywood or Conv. I cracked one..darn it! A few bubbles on the edge is fine, will match all the other glass in the car. I know I can buy a new one, but would rather have an old original. Let me know your price and shipping to Florida..email me or post here.

Also I would like to extend a thanks to all those members that have , offered me parts, sent parts and helped put this 54 Holywood back together. Nice bunch of folks here in the Hudson World.

I am wanting to replace both of my vent window glasses (54 Hollywood). I still have the originals.



The left and right are different because of the etching (viewed from the inside).



Have you had any luck locating NOS replacements?



They are etched as:

PPG SOLEX

DUOLITE

AS2 92



I have located a guy locally (Memphis-Horn Lake, MS) who has asked me to drop them off and,

1) he has the original type, laminated, green-tinted glass, and

2) he has a company who can do the etching, just like original, he believes, but must check with them.



I just checked my glass and the etching is done on the inside of the glass, and is read from the inside and that makes sense (I can feel it).
