If it were mine, I would drain the pan, clean the mesh and redill to be sure of level, or I would pull the dipstick to ensure there was at least 'some fluid' since the torus will rotate the input shaft running in neutral.
Once motor started and before driving car, I would add more fluid if necessary. Most automatic levels read above full on stick when motor is off then when started drop down into safe range. Consequently if nothing on dipstick when engine off its probably pretty low.....0 -
Never-never run engine with no fluid in tranny, as you will burn the pump seal right out, Now you have a problem. Walt.0
