"Startron" gas additive?

Has anyone used "Startron" gasoline treatment in their Hudson? It's supposed to ease the effects of ethanol in gasoline. A friend who owns several old cars, said he picked up a bottle at the marine section of Walmart, but he hasn't used it enough yet to make a judgment.

Went on line to website. 16 oz treats 250 gal for about $15, but other than keeping fuel stabile and clean, I couldn't quite see any other advantage. It states that it conteracts the effect of ethanol, especially in water absorbtion. It does not state if it has any effect on ethanols low flash point theat causes fuel starvation in hot weather. Now is not the time to test for that, especially with the winter gas now being added to our cars until March. Winter gas will flash at @ 105 degrees F. Summer at @145. If you have winter gas in your tank in April till Sept( who doesn't), the old cars will be more sensitive to fuel starvation aka vapor lock drivability problems. Maybe March would be a good time to test Startron, or ask the manufacturer. Any thoughts?

Thanks for doing the research. It doesn't seem to address the potential problems in our Hudsons that are caused by ethanol, I guess!
