37T engine find
just bought a 37T rebuilt engine.Fellow had built it for a classic racer special,did three laps then did two rod bearings,he believes that the remetalling was not properly bonded on the rods ,as a different engineer did the mains and theyre fine.Aluminium timing gears,high comp head,new pistons ,rings,twin SU carbies,rebuilt clutch with NOS throwout bearing,AND two good gearboxes!
He put a dodge engine into the racer and put the engine in the local paper for sale section.$750 ! i didnt even bargain which is unlike me.Remetal the rods then put the engine into my 36T parts car and drive round and round the farm real fast!
