Inner fender panels on a stepdown

I'm getting all of my inner fender panels prepped for finish. I'm seriously considering powder coating these pieces. Question: What color of black was used on Step-downs? More specifically, should they be satin, low gloss, high gloss?

Hi Russel - I would say more of a low gloss finish on these panels.0

That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure. Powder coating is somewhat permanent!:woohoo:0 -
Russell, Hudson used lacquer on their cars like and so thats what was sprayed on the black panels as well. Appliance manufactures used the same stuff until recently. I guess a medium gloss black enamel would work just fine.0
