Many times there have been questions here on the forum on "how do I get a Title etc." Well..Thanks to Hemming's and SEMA.. They are looking out for us. They have compiled all the states (US) requirements in one place. If you don't belong to SEMA... You should! it's free..

Good point Dave. I looked over the requrements for my home state just last week and they did a very good job identifying the requirements. They are changing just about every year now as the state is trying to figure out how to get more money out of the old car folks.

The Vintage Chevrolet Club of America has a committee (yes, I am on the committee) that is partnered with SEMA and is dedicated to watching and reporting on the changes that are taking place across the United States. Items such as E-15 Fuel are being monitored very closely. This bill if passed would cause us a lot more problems that when they removed lead. We all might do well in going to our local state website and downloading the various bills that affect our hobby. Here in my home state there are just over 90 bills that are working their way through the process.

To use the 15 percent gas coming, you will have to richen your carburetor about 1 to 2 thousands of an inch. It takes a richer mixture than straight gas, as we used to run 100 percent alcohol back in my race days, and the weather, temp, water in the air and altitude all play a part in the mixture. I have already made plans to carry jets for my next trip across country. Instead of 20 to 22, in some states it will be 15 to 18. Walt.
