I'm putting the last pieces on my 50 C6 Cv and would like a recommendation for someone to do the wood grain on the door tops to match the dash which is very nice. Is there someone professional and honest anyone can suggest? The door tops currently have wood grain contact paper stuck on them!
Thanks,
Ivan

I had Bob Bailey do all the faux wood trim on my '39 Ford Deluxe Coupe.

He's in Auburn, WA 253-579-4068. I was a bit leery, as his prices were just about half of the next lowest estimate I received from a number of other sources. But I asked for references, and checked several, all of whom gave him high marks.

All the pieces (some 18 or so in all) were completed exactly within the time frame he originally quoted, and the results were spectacular... Heavy clearcoat, color sanded to concours-quality mirror finish. I only wish whoever restored the dash on my '51 Hornet Club Coupe had used the same guy!

Boy, some of their work (Bailey's) looks real nice! Be interesting to get pricing on a stepdown dash and trim wood grain job.
