Starting the Terraplane finaly!

After taking over two years to remove the engine and transmission to install a new clutch,and put everything back together, I charged the Battery, put some marvel mystery oil down each cylinder and let it sit for about a week. Then I turned the engine over slowly with the starter a few turns and then the engine fired right up. Only ran it for a few weconds, made me feel good. Now just a few little things to do, and the Terraplane should be back on the road. It took a long time to change the clutch due to health reasons and it was not my main means of transportation. Hudson's do not die, they just need a nap sometimes. Arnie in Nevada.

Yes Victor, It was Kelly's Terraplane at one time. I bought it sight unseen and was told that it was a running driving car. Saw a picture of it, looked good. Bought it, had it shipped out here to Nevada and was a little disappointed when it sarrived. It had an inch of dust on it, did not run, no brakes. I did get it running, bled the brakes, washed and cleaned it up and had the carburator rebuilt, replaced the fuel pump, tried to drive it, very bad clutch, would barely move. Could not see anything with the headlights, but that is another story. Anyway It will run and be driveable shortly. Unfortunatley I am going to have to sell it as my wife has some health issues and I need to get closer to town and doctors. Things like that happen as we get older.Arnie in Nevada
