Hudson 7X Dyno Project
We are currently in the process of building an "original" 7X motor and going to dyno it with a new Hudson aftermarket head and compare it with a stock 262 cylinder head. The block is an extremely rare Hudson block that has no seriel numbers. Note the factory relief around the valve area, and note the lack of seriel numbers on the right corner of the block. Just a few shots of the maching process and where we are at on this project. Thanks again to all who have helped support this project.

Looks to be a good while until testing. When do you anticipate it will begin?0

Hopefully by the end of the month. Align honing has already been done, the deck squared with the front and rear mains. There was .009 difference from front to back. The boring will be completed today. Intake and exhaust port work will be next to square them up with the gasket and make each exhaust the same size and the same for the intakes. The 1/2 threads for the studs were already done. All work is done by myself and Steve with our machines except for the align hone and grinding of the crank.
