1935 Hudson (restorable)
This is a 1935 as far as I can tell.
It should be complete less the short block. I cannot verify this but will take a closer look when I get it home.
It is a four door eight cylinder car. The transmission is present as well as what looks to be an electric shifting mechanism.
I have yet to inventory the door handles, window surrounds and other small parts that are removed from the car, but I can see several buckets of parts inside. Both seats are there.
It would appear the the car was dissasembled for restoration and parked. I would suspect that the engine block is in some machine shop left over from many years ago. Thw owner tells me that it has been in its present condition for about 40 years. There is no title.
It is located in NW Oregon.
If someone is interested in this car as it sits I would be inclined to sell it. I like the deco look of it so if no body wants to restore it then it will most likely be turned into a street rod.

Jack, The flathead 8 in this car makes it very high on the list of a car that should be restored. I have included a photo of my engine so you can see what it looks like. Since it is a flathead 8 it is the long wheel base car and would naturally come with all the bells and such. Should have someone chime in on this one soon.

I was thinking that the eight cylinder would be the desirable one.
I am brining it home tommorow and will have some better pictures.
I would think that this car would be a good candidate for restoration, however I dont have the wherewithall to take on that job.
I am into this deal $4000 and thats what it would take to buy it. Might be high but I sure would like to break even on something these days.
I would consider a swap for a more likley street rod candidate as I already have a 392 Hemi with a four speed. I have been looking for a home for that running gear. I would prefer it be a Mopar.
The Hudson is dificult to look at until I can get it out of where it is, but I know that I saw the tranny and The guy says the head is there but NO BLOCK. I assume that he means the loaded block as I dont remember seeing any other engine parts, however there are a couple of boxes that I couldnt get to.
I will post more tomorrow or Wednesday when I can get a better look.0
