New Hudson Web Site Resource

For several months I've been posting a web site URL that took HET owners to an on-line library.
I'm proud to announce that, thru the efforts of Aaron Cooper, Gregg Maroney and Kathy Burrington (Especially Gregg and Kathy - they did the site building) the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club on-line library is officially open for business. Gregg and Kathy spent a number of evenings turning the list into a workable site. It's easy to navigate and easy to open.
This library does not, repeat NOT, replace the "paper" HET Club library maintained by John O'Halloran. It is meant compliment that library.
All of this is the end result of the very first literature web site I posted on the old Microsoft web site. When they discontinued that venue, I moved it over to freewebs.com. I was offered space on Classiccar.com, but for some reason that never happened. Then HET president Aaron Cooper offered space on the HET club home site and we were off and running. The results are, I hope, something that will be of use to members - I've been scanning this material for over 5 years. There are over 700 documents and counting - we've made it less cumbersome by combining like documents, as in the bulletins, into booklets. For example Car Distribution Department Bulletins for 1949 are combined into a booklet complete with cover sheet and an index page.
Are there errors - certainly, and probably duplications as well. For example the cover sheet for the 1953 Car Distribution Department bulletins says "500 Series" - should be "C" series. As time goes on we will find these and correct them as needed.
In the meantime I hope you all will find material that will be useful and helpful.
The URL for the site is http://hetclub.org/burr/lithomepage.htm - it can also be accessed by going to the HET club site at http://hetclub.org/ and clicking 1st on HET Club, then click on Resources in the drop down box and finally click on Online Hudson Literature.
I've been a member of the Hudson club for 41 years - I've given this work to the club as a thank you for the wonderful times and all the great friends I've made over the years. You all are truly my Hudson "family".

Alex, this is just splendid! You've done an outstanding job in rounding up and scanning all that literature, and now the website itself makes it a breeze for someone to access it. John O'Halloran has done a great job with the Club Library for all these years, yet your website really moves our Club into the 21st century, with user-friendly accessibility of vital Hudson technical and restoration research information. I don't think people can truly appreciate the hundreds of hours you've spent on this. Thank you!0
