Hash Anyone?
Obviously not to everyone's taste, but you can't argue with the fact that this is one clean machine:

It is a beautiful car, but remember, Brownie, you're selling, not buying. Keep repeating after me: "Selling, not buying; Selling, not buying. . ."
And I agree, Paul, the 202 with air would be just caged lightning on a hot day- "0 to 60 by Tuesday!" And if I remember correctly, the 202 was the only thing that would fit, so we wouldn't be stuffing a 7X in that baby anytime soon. Oh, well, just cruise in style!0 -
This seller is employing a different strategy. He's listed it 3 times on eBay so far:
--1st time the minimum bid was $10K
--2nd time it was $15K
--this time it's $20K
You're doing it wrong!0 -
Hay Mike, I am not sure that understand the buy-sell thing. I do know that I am not very good at it? Anyway, I did sell the 50 and it is leaving today. No one has shown anything more than a polite interest in the 39 Martz so my wife has convinced me to go out an buy a new welder and start messing with it. She thinks that now I am retired I am too lazy. Since the English Hudson is finished I guess welding is better than yard work. And it is a lot easier to do in those long winter months. Like I said, I am not too good at the buy-sell thing....0

Pretty car BUT, Drove a 56 Wasp to Docs meet back in the 70s. What a dog . Going up a hill on I-88 would only go 35 MPH. top speed. Larry Kenndy ( as I remeber) pulled up beside me and ask if I was having car trouble. Told him had it floored and thats all she would do. He smiled and left me in the dust with his 49. It looked great setting in the parking lot. Cant imagine one with air.0

Definition of Welder's Flash: You get a flash of insight and realize that welding on an old car is better than any Honeydo your wife can find in the ol' melon patch...:cheer:0 -
Gee, Brownie, I wish MY wife would tell me to go get a new welder! And I'm pretty sure I'm about as lazy as anybody on here! LOL
'Course, she may realize that instead of sitting on the couch watching TV, I'd be sitting out in the shop, watching the welder!
I do think the Martz would be a pretty good project- at least you'll have something unique when you get done, and unlike many of us, you probably have the ability to actually do it.0
