I need the short part that goes between wiper transmission and blade extension for duck bill wipers on our 36T.

That is a hard piece to find and would be a good candidate for someone to get reproduced. They were only used for 3 years and I think only Hudson and Packard used them.

If I can find a sample, I will try to have them reproduced.

Weren't they simply a straight rod that had been bent at each end -- and they fit into a bracket on the wiper blade itself? Or maybe it was a clip that snapped onto the blade. I wonder if Park Waldrop would know about this -- he, of course, restored that stunning '36 convertible Hudson.

Do you have a photo of the profile of the wire section? These are the only pics I have.
  • put me down for a pair if anyone starts reproducing them!:cheer:

My poor ol 36 could use some too. It would answer some 'What are those for' questions.

Skip, that would be the piece. They are made of pot metal and chrome plated. It would be a pretty easy piece to have reproduced. I believe that '35 Hudson used them as well as '36, so there should be some interest in reproductions.

    Hey,
I could use the wires and piece that attach to the wiper blades.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Jeff
