what is this from?

I seen this pic of what looks to be a hudson 308 but when i looked at the motor mounts they
look different than the one's i have seen? whats this motor from? or do you think someone modified the original to put in something else?

As Nick said Hash or 1955/56 engine. If you look above vacuum advance line, you can see boss where serial number is stamped. Serial number starting with F1001 is 1955 and starting with F8601 is 1956.

Looks like a 262 block from a Wasp to me.

that is a 55 or 56 308 the water pump has longer shaft and oil pan is different from 51 to 54
