"Hi Ray,
Was good seeing you yesterday. After you left I got all those braces done and
the radio installed back in the dash. I was cleaning up the tables to see what all
was left to install on the hudson and found a small bag with extra radio knobs and
two chrome pieces. The two chrome pieces I have no idea where or how they go.
They were in with Hudson knobs and they are rechromed pieces. Any idea's what these
are for? Thanks Allen"

Need help identying above self explanatory email in quote's question from Allen.
Thanks Ray

The piece on the left is the back side of the Hydramatic Quadrant. Have no idea what the piece on the right is.

  • Ray, The part identified by Jerry is correct. It's the rear part of the Hydramatic gear selector indicator. The other part isn't generally plated so that may have thrown Jerry off. It's the piece that holds the plastic gear selector indicator plate in place. Usually attached with two speed nuts(clips) on the back of the main Hydramatic shift assembly. The small studs protruding out from this part will indicate where it goes.
  • My sincere thanks to both Jerry & Hudzilla,

    Ray
