can someone estimate how much leather it will take to do seats in a 51 conv

    LeBaron-Bonney said two hides, and that appears about right. We got two, and it did take one to do the front seats. Holding off on the rears as long as the original leather continues to hold up as well as it's doing.

    I too think 2 hides

    Dave Sollon and i bought 10 hides from bill herch and I'm almost sure we got 4 cars out of that buy my 50 Pacemaker, Daves 52 Hornet his 54 Hornet and Nick Sollons 49com and I think we still have some pieces left I hope this helps

    when you buy leather make sure you buy vat dyed leather we got a great deal from Bill Hearch he was at The AACA show in Hershey and was selling it like he had stole it we got the good price because we bought the whole dye lot that way all the leather was the same color make sure you get hides from the same dye lot
