Borg-Warner DG-200 Automatic Question
Greetings from Virginia Beach. I finally confirmed that the HA- transmission serial number on my 51 Studebaker Champion's DG-200 automatic transmission and date tag of 11/17/53 on the tail extension indicate it was built for a 54 Hudson, as Stude DG-200s S/N begin with SC-
The governor linkage was missing when I bought the car, with just the rod hanging. I bought the Stude ball joint and oval/slotted bracket/lever that turns the governor post. The bracket does not fit - there is a bump-out in the tail piece housing preventing installing the bracket's nut/bolt.
Where can I get the governor bracket, and some information to confirm that it installs the same way to the accelerator pedal rod? Or a Hudson automatic tranny shop manual?

Clarence
