Though some may say otherwise, it appears Hudson went to black rubber wires in '36 or a little before. Archive photos of '36 engines at the factory show the wires are definitely black. I learned this when an AACA judge questioned the yellow woven wires on my '36.0

I've google'd until my fingers are sore! Not much luck.
I do have a pertronix set up in the distributor and I see on their website that they are not for electron ignitions but the wire is modern stranded copper conductor with pvc insulation ????0 -

I got mine from Dave. I have a 37 8 and they fit as they should, correct length even in the wire loom and black. Very happy and they look good.
