UPCOMING EVENT... DON'T MISS OUT! The JET SET MEETING at the 52nd Annual National HET Meet is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st from 3:30pm-5pm. I am not able to attend the National this year. In my absence, Sheldon Rody, a National Director and long-time member of the HET club, will be leading this session. I am VERY disappointed about missing out, because Sheldon has lined up a fantastic guest speaker for the meeting!!! Noel Renner will be coming to this years meeting to talk about his Jet drag car! It was legendary in the 1970s in Ohio. (On a side note, back in 1971, Olin Renner and Gus Souza had Jet drag cars and they went out in the street and had a legondary Drag race at the national on a side street.) Noel said he has some pics to show and he is excited to do this. Noel is an excellant mechanic, restorer, and automatic transmission man. He does it all and has owned many Hudsons. If you have specific questions on performance or other mechanical issues, ask someone who knows first hand. This meeting will be the perfect opportunity to do that!

Sheldon might also bring a rear axle puller tool to demonstrate how to use and possibly a short presentation on vinyl interior painting. (He just did the seats and door trim panels on his Pacer.)

JetSetter Renewals and monies will NOT be collected at the meeting. Please submit those to me via my post office box or PayPal. A membership form is available at www.hudsonjet.net if you're not currently a member and interest in joining. For those driving to Oklahoma, I would love to see some pictures of your Jet by some of the Route 66 roadside attractions!

Please bring any questions regarding mechanical repairs to your Jet, and we will have a Town Hall time to help you out.
