6 Volt Electric Windshield Wiper Motors

I was going through the garage yesterday and found 4 brand spanking new 6-volt windshield wiper motors I bought awhile back from American Science & Surplus (are they still called that?). Anyway, they were for Volkswagons and are probably negative ground so you'd have to reverse the polarity if you want to use 'em.
I thought I'd give forum users the first shot at taking these things off my hands before I put them on ebay. Before you ask, I never got one fastened in a step down (or any other Hudson for that matter). I had 5 but gave one to Norris b4 he moved to Michigan. He was gonna try and see if he could get them to work. I doubt if he was successful.
I'll check back soon to see if anyone's interested. I'll also see if I can get my daughter's digital camera and take a few pictures to post.

I too have purchased several of the early 6volt Bosch wiper motors used in VWs. To date have been unable to devise an acceptable means of using the motor with the existing Hudson cable system. The VW originally used a mechanical mechanism and ecentric roller system to turn the wipers.
What I did purchase on eBay that will work is a NOS SIMCO Model DF-3 6 volt electric windshield wirper motor designed for two wipers. It has the adapters to mount it in-place of the original vacume wiper motor. The electric motor has adjustments to allow for the amount of wiper arc needed. Have not installed yet, but will do so some time this winter.0 -
We have 3 wiper motors and some transmissions. The motors are NOS in the box.

I also may be interested depending on the cost - please advise. They apparently are ideal for an Essex.

I was just looking for recovering the $10 apiece I paid for them, plus shipping. Got 3 left.
