Hi, I have just fitted the new K-Gap supplied grill emblem on my '53 Hornet, and it looks great, after the faded cracked original one. However, I notice that there is a countersunk hole in the housing that the emblem fits in, right on the top. I can't see any reason for this. Is my car missing a bracket or something? There is just a gap between the housing and the front shroud. Can someone enlighten me, or send me a pic of what should be in there. Step-Downs are thin on the ground here. Thanks,
Geoff

Geoff, It is the piece that holds the light bulb to illiminate the crest. Give me your address and I will send you one.
