bearing cap wicking/packing
I have had the 37T engine line bored, balanced and assembled, but the engineer has used a type of silastic(nu-bond?nu-lon?)to seal and pack the main bearing cap holes rather than the cotton wicking used originaly. He assures me that this is fine, but i have my doubts,do i need to pull the whole thing apart and redo it? or is this a common thing nowadays? hope to hear from you.
