FINDING THE RIGHT "FORUM" HERE AT CLASSICCAR

A lot of folks are mistakenly posting their "Hudson" messages in the "General Topics" forum, not here in the Hudson forum. "General Topics" is a catch-all forum "out in the lobby" (so to speak) for all makes of cars.

It's easy to get lost when trying to navigate around the Classiccar Forums, in this one respect the layout is not user-friendly. So you can think you're in one place when in fact your in another. There's no "guide" to look at, showing the whole picture, with a "you are here" sticker on it!

The Hudson Forum is one of many forums. You can see them all by hitting the INDEX tab toward the left side, near the top of this page. If you ever get lost, hit INDEX. Then you can look down, spot the Hudson forum, and go directly there.

Once you're in the Hudson Forum, you can simply make your post, or could go to the Hudson sub-forums: "DISCUSSIONS" or "STREET RODS". "Street Rods" is for Hudsons that have been significantly hopped up (Brand-X drive train, chopped, channeled, etc. etc.)-- photos, tips, interchanges, etc. "Discussions" is for non-Hudson automotive comments, rants, or anything that might be controversial. The "regular" Hudson forum is for topics having to do with technical, historic, or restoration aspects of (more-or-less) original Hudsons, or with activities having to do with enjoying your Hudson. Not a "clean" division, of course, but it helps to sort things out.

I'm posting this because some of our newer participants or visitors may not have quite gotten the hang of this thing yet, and maybe some of our old participants might have missed a point or two about the operation of the forum.

    Jon,

Perhaps you should also post this message on the General Forum!

You might want to add instructions on how to bookmark the Hudson Forum on the computer so that Hudson folks don't have to navigate around in ClassicCar.com.
