Hi guys, it's been about two months I did'nt come on the forum. too much busy at the time but have been able to take time to read the topics and, as usual, I am amazed how you give very good advice. I just felt on a 1950 Hudson Pacemaker
conv. for sale... Could not talk to the owner yet but, at first glance, it looks not too bad. We can see there is rust in the lower part of the fenders. ( Holes)
Will ask him about the rear rails where it is the most important from what I've read on other topics. I already have a 1953 parts car that has a good motor. I could swap the 308 from the 53 in the 54 and, since I already have a 262 Twin-H in the 54 it could go in the 50 convertible. The top bows on the conv seems to be fairly complete. And we can notice the interior seems there. From the bumper condition, it looks to have been sheltered from the elements. So the big question. What would be the maximum to pay for it? I know it's not a Hornet but it still is a convertible. What do you think? Thanks, Michel. P.S. Will come back with the asking price later. The pictures are not from me. Did not see the car myself.

Depends on the price... If it's in the hundreds of dollars you couldn't go wrong,MAYBE up to 2000 depending on frame condition. I'm not a Hudson value expert, just going by what I payed for my cars and the fact I'm cheap.

That looks like a car that once belonged to Bob Gibbs of
Dover,Ohio. He sold it maybe 7-8 years ago.He is in the HET roster.
You might want to contact him with the serial number and see
if he can give you any info.He loves to talk Hudson.
