This is a great resource - Sheldon is finding out that, like my General Information Handbook, there is no end. I'm doing a bunch of 1956, 1957 managers letters and have found a lot of dealership listings that Sheldon could use.

I bought a copy at the OKC International and have found it to be highly interesting.

If you're on the road and in a town somewhere you can, with this book, find out if there was a dealership there and if you're curious you can maybe see what that dealership has turned into.

I highly recommend it for your HET library.

Another great book for your Hudson library is Charley Woodruff's book "The Long Ride". Over the years Charley has made a lot of Nationals driving his 51. His book is about his trip to the 2010 National in Spokane. Read his ad under Literature for Sale in the latest WNT (Sept/Oct) and order a copy. Well worth the read. Oh, yes, a copy is on my book shelf and I've read it twice already. It will be one of those books I take down and read at times when I don't have anything else to hand to read.

If you're a Tour Director, or assist with planning events for your local HET chapter, or just need an excuse to explore town... this book is a MUST! It's interesting to see how many of these dealership buildings are still around! What better excuse to drive your Hudson and have a photo opportunity, than to park it in front of an old dealership?
