    Is your old one broken or just stuck. Because you can pull the cable out of the sheath clean it and the sheath coat the cable in graphite and reassemble. I did this on one of mine worked perfectly.

    If you need a complete new one I got one for my 54 on eBay.

    Niels, If you have the Hydramatic trans ask for ATP Y-803 at your parts store. I think it fits 59-62 Buick, except the Special. I put one on my 54 Hornet and the length is right.
