U Joints for 37 Terraplane

Anyone have a modern number for the U-joints on a 37 PU? I'm going to replace both before installing the drive shaft.

    Spicer - 5-153 X. Precicion - 369. Carquest - 1-013 Norm

    I just checked the Precision 369 I bought from NAPA and they are way smaller than the ones off the Terraplane PU.

    Here are the numbers I have written in my "little brown book". Of course, we are assuming that you have a 1937 Terraplane rear end, and that some previous owner has not slipped in something different. Alas, I have no guarantee that these are correct:

    Chevrolet 1955-62 (I have always specified the Chevy's in my '37 T)
    Ford 1949-60 and 1960-67 (I assume this is a std. full sized Ford)
    Precision 329
    Alloy J5-121
    Spicer 5-200X Std., 5-153X H.D., 5-121 X Lt.

    Kdancy - I have a Precision 369 in the CIC club Store. It is the same size as a Spicer 5-153X and CarQuest 1-0153. I can't explane how or why. Norm :huh:

    I wound up taking one joint, cleaned it up and called Dana Spicer Corporation and got a tech on the phone that took my measurements from the old joint and wound up with these numbers-
    non-greasable--- 5-799X = 5-1350X (new number) then to NAPA 231
    greasable joint is Napa 331
    This matches the joints I took out.

    Perhaps the pickups and panel trucks had heavier duty U-joints than the passenger cars?
