As I indicated in another thread, there will be two plastic model kits ('51 and '52) available from the Club Store shortly at $26.00. They will be advertised in the WTN in Nov/Dec. The kits were thoroughly vetted by Hudson Club Members and are quite detailed, with over 120 parts. They should be available from the Club Store on the Club Website before the magazine is mailed on November 15 (January 15 if you live in Canada  ) I have seen one and they appear to be excellent. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thanks for posting the photos of the unboxed kit. I believe a '53 Cv and sedan are next, but don't know the timing. Other iterations will depend on how well these sell, but I know that the manufacturer took some to a local HET meet and sold them all in 5 minutes or so...:cheer:

BTW: I'm going to build one, but if it goes anything like the kits I built 50 years ago you will be able to recognize mine by the glue fingerprint on the windshield...
  • I really like the instruction sheets. Gives you all the colour combo's with the Hudson and the Ditzler codes. Lots of great info in there. Very well done.

I bought 4 in the whimsical dream I could do 4 different colours and setup a dealer diorama in my book case. Of course it will take me 4 years to build them or almost the same time its taking me to restore my 2 54 Hornets.

My problem building one of these kits is my room-mate. She has a highly sensitive sense of smell, which I don't. The smell of the glue and later paint will make her sick in a heartbeat.

    Sooooooooooooooo...........

Well, I can always add the unbuilt kit to my collection.

I guess my choice would be Press Kale's '34 Terraplane pickup- same color and everything, just shrink it to 1/24 scale and put it in a box. About the cutest rig I've ever seen.
