vacuum windshield wiper conversion
Making good progress on my '46 pickup, and as long as I've got the interior gutted for paint, might as well address the vacuum wiper motor. Don't want to get this far behind the dash a second time. I'm sure someone has addressed the vacuum motor before, and would be interested in a solution or 2. Thought I'd try some burl wood for the dash panels (attached a pic). With rain comming need to get these wipers wiping......Byron

I'd suggest you put this on the "main" Hudson board- much wider readership there. The "discussion" board is for off topic stuff, and a lot of guys don't read it. In fact, that's why it was originally created- so dyed-in-the-wool Hudsonites wouldn't have to be bothered with off topic stuff. Your question is definitely "on topic", and I know there are some solutions to the vacuum wiper issue.0
