Forgot to say the car was the 51 4-door in minnisota listed as a hornet,

I had one of those heads on my 51. It was cracked and Jeff Perkins bought it from me to do some analysis on it. He was going to check the volume of the chamber and other things about it. It has this tag on it.

If 305854 is the part number, it's not in the 1948-1954 Master Group Parts book. Probably a special order item originally put out for use in stock cars.
What is there is the following info:
"Iron cylinder head is standard on all models except 7A-7B-7C-6D-7D which use Aluminum as standard.
However, due to material shortages some 7A-7B-7C engines were equipped with a higher compression Iron cylinder head."
