Good morning all. This past weekend My Honey and I took a trip to the Berkshires to Lenox Ma. Certianly this is a Magical place in that, " Norman Rockwell lived there." It' is one of the most wonderful, "small town America" places Iv'e ever been to.

This being said, we stayed at a B&B with much history. While talking to the owner of the Inn , I discoved that the Heiress to the Hudson fortune , lived in Town. After talking further the Inn keepere told me that his daughter use to babysit for Heiress's Family. This got me thinking.

Even though Hudson was the venture capitolist of the Co. and made his money in the Department store Bussiness, wouldn't it be interesting to talk to the Heiress.

Certianly there must be some untold stories from Great Grand Dad about the Hudosn Car Co. Just think, the stories that get passed down from Generation to generation that never get written.

Maybe it's just a day dream but I thought , Wow , What a great potential story for Hudsonites........

    Dan,

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't have the time while I was there but I did manage to get the name , address and phone number. My mind was racing . There must be some interesting stories that could be told. Of Course I don't even know if she would be willing to meet with me but you never know. My thougth was to call , mention the Inn keeper's name and try to take it from there. If she says yes , then I try to plan a meeting and show up in my 54 sedan.

What's the worst that could happen? She says no. And, definately go in your sedan, and take a tape recorder, if she agrees. Sounds like a great opportunity.
