Hornet vs Pacemaker

Just questionning myself...But I can't find the answer. I'm sure you can help. The bidding on that 50 Pacemaker convertible ended at $1245.01 and was a no sale. Is it because of the condition? ( It seemed quite complete with- I admit it- my not so much experience). Or is it because it was simply a Pacemaker? I imagine if it would have been a 51 Hornet convertible in the same condition, it would have fetch more, but so much more? Would like to get your advice on that point. Thanks guys!

Pacemakers have always had less value than Hornets. But they do have their fans among Hudsonites. For a convertible to be worth it, it has to hold it's value given the amount of work most of them need and the fact that finding Hornet parts might actually be easier. Most of them end up being welding projects. Add Ebay to this equation though and if it doesn't have a clean title or a good rated seller most people wouldn't touch it.
