Her's another '32 removed from long storage and sold! From the incredilble Lee Roy Hartung collection. Urban Legend has it that Hudson forgot to put a crank hole in the grille that year? What's up with that?

That,s amazing I last visited Hartung collection some years ago and back then I thought his collection should have been preserved and saved completely . Lee had basically preserved the history of the early 20th century. The problem was he didn,'t trust museums he had been burned by them and others had tried to steal from him and still others were scheming on how to get his collection when he died. Of course he didn't want to give it away for free. The yuppie town of Glenview was too stupid to know it was worth saving and didn't care. It,s a sad statement of some people in the hobby and some in general. It's sad Americans know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Lee knew that better than anyone he was amover in the '50's and '60's and got a lot of his collection free as much of it was stuff people left behind when they moved and whatnot..yes even one of a kind cars. As for Hudson' s he had that Essex terraplane and a motor and rumored to have an entire mile a minute roadster. He also had license plates from all 50 states for every year. This is a waste and a loss. I know in the bigger picture it's just stuff but Americans as so bad about our history
