where can I find parts?

Ok, I'm thinking of going as original as I can. My only problem is finding parts like engine and trans rebuild and interior, anybody got any info ?

The best resource for everything you are asking for is to join the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club. You will then receive a copy of the award winning White Triangle News, the club magazine that is published bi-monthly. There is a listing in the White Triangle News of people who offer products and services along with classified ads for cars, parts and accessories, and a wealth of information from the contributors. Joining the club will also put you in touch with your local chapter and enable you to be in direct contact with other people who are Hudson, Essex and Terraplane enthusiasts.

Go to www.hetclub.org click on the membership tab you will be able to print an application form, or register online using PayPal

Your best approach may be the "old fashioned" one that many of us used to do. Make up a 'want list' with the part you need, part number (if known) and possibly a photo or drawing with dimensions. The list might end up being several pages long, and it could either be Xeroxed (if you intend to mail it) or prepared in MS Word or whatever (if you intend to e-mail). You could then send these to some of the regular advertisers in the WTN. You might also contact owners of similar cars (you can find them in the National Roster of the Club) to see if they can offer advice or if they might even have some spare parts they'd sell.

One source of the older Hudson parts in Carl Weber, in Mass. (he's listed in the Roster and advertises in the WTN).
