37 trim question
It looks like the chrome trim that is attached to the cowl vent is "swaged" in place. I drilled one end out and had to cut the other swaged end with a grinder in order to remove the trim. It doesn't look deep enough to drill and tap for a screw, do you guys glue it back on after re-plating?
Is it made out of pot metal or aluminum?

Nope, just drill and tap it for a number 4 (or was it a number 6? Wo, it's been 35 years!). But....don't drill too deeply, LOL!
Same deal with the "squiggles" at the front of the hood.
It's pot metal, by the way.0
