Hey all just forwarding this for those of you who didn't know. We lost another HET member anf friend Bill Hill. Note as follows from CHI-MIL President Cheri Holtz :
"Hi all
I received a call last night from John O'Halloran. He had received word from the family of Bill Hill that Bill had passed yesterday. He was at the Carle Hospital in Champaign, IL and is to be buried at a VA Cemetery in Danville, IL--sounds like that will be just family. They may or may not have a memorial service at a later date. John said he will let us know if he hears something. Keep Bill's family in your prayers.

Even more sad news. Floyd Towell of the CHI-MIL HET Club passed at age 92. He had a very flawless '53 Hornet. Details below quoted from Email:
" Arrangements pending at Honquest Family Funeral Homes in Roscoe, IL (next to Post Office).

Passed on Saturday so not on website yet.
When I was just 24years old and just out of law school, my wife and I moved to the Rockford area. I joined the Hudson club and the local chapter. Floyd and Martha invited us to their house in Rockford and took Marilyn and I for our first ride ever in a Hudson. I still remember sitting in the backseat of their 53 Hornet and thinking I have to buy one of these. I did, and Floyd was the first to stop and see it. I could always count on Floyd driving to my house when I needed help starting my Hudson, etc. I imagine Martha and Floyd are out cruising around heaven in a Hudson, just like their honeymoon...

Rest In Peace, Bill and Floyd.....
Both good, down to earth Hudson folk that will be sorely missed.0 -
Ah crap, Floyd too? I loved them both. Thanks for letting us know Aaron.
