54 Hollywood overhead lights; there are 4 location
Before removing the headliner I noticed 2 lights over
the front seat. After removing the headliner I noticed
that there are an extra set of housings above the rear
seats, in addition (4, total). During restoration I was
considering installing four overhead lights. Have never
seen a car w/four. Does anyone know the basis for
having the four overhead light housings???? What was
Hudson thinking? Perhaps originally it came with four
and whoever replaced the headliner decided to abandon
the rear two lights. All ideas appreciated.

Well, after some thought (there was no wiring, nor light
sockets in the rear housings); we concluded that Mr. Hudson
had to cut some costs on the Wasp (vs. Hornets),
and that was just another suttle way of doing it. My
intent is to add that necessary to have four over head
lights in it after the restoration. That shouldn't
alienate anyone. This restoration process is tan-
tamount to a tricky puzzle for a novice like myself.
It's fun any way one looks at it!!!!!!!0
