Dumb HET club member (me) who didn't bring his HET roster on his trip to Memphis, looking for HET members in the Knoxville area who may be needed for some assistance.



My car broke down (non-Hudson) in the Knoxville area - it is now in Knoxville and I'm in Memphis. Working on arrangements to get it taken back to Maine, but may need a temporary home until it can be picked up, if that's the route we take.

Hi everybody,



I talked to my mechanic in Maine this afternoon - he is sending a car to Florida, the truck will be coming back empty, so is going to come back thru Knoxville and pick up my car and take it back to Maine. This has absolutely floored the service manager at the Caddy dealership, but it's ok with him.



It appears that not only is it going to be ok for the car to remain at the dealership until the truck can get there next week, but they're going to keep it inside!!!! Now all I have to do is get my daughter to take us up there, probably Monday, so I can retrieve a few things I left behind.



I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who emailed offers of help, phone numbers, email addresses and such. It just show's, once again, what a great club this is.



Here's wishing all of you, not only those who stepped up to help out, but everybody, a very very MERRY CHRISTMAS and the very best of the coming New Year.
