Swap meet at the National/Gettysburg???

This will be my first trip to a HET event, and I have a question. I have just received my WTN Magazine and read the daily events that are available at the meet. I would like to bring some extra parts to sell at the swap meet ,but I don't see a schedule for that event. Does it go on every day or is there a scheduled day for it?? I'm bringing my just finished 47 club coupe and am looking forward to meeting a bunch of you guys who have answered a lot of my questions over the last few years of my restoration project.
Thanks,
Chuck

There's a little box to check off on the meet registration form if you need a swap space. It's near the top on the right side, after name, address, etc.

Being as this is your first time coming to a National be prepared for shock. You won't believe what you are going to see. As one person I know said upon arriving at his first National "I thought I'd died and gone to heaven".

I'll be on the lookout for your '47 so I can shake your hand and welcome you.

  • Sometimes they dont list the swap meet because as said previous it goes on all day everyday. They only ask you to close up to coax folks into the business meeting. There is no charge for a space but they do like to know how many to prepare for. There will be anything from complete cars to little containers of used screws . Along with lots of new parts thrown in for good measure.
Hope you have a good time

I'm planning on bringing at least a truck load of parts, hopefully a trailer too. Gotta make more space :)

This will be my first National since York in '88?

Will be glad to meet all of you there. As I wrote in another topic, I will be wearing this T-Shirt. Should be easy to recognise me. Michel
